Are you training for a career in contemporary dance?

Australian Dance Theatre Secondment Week | September 18-22

Australian Dance Theatre’s Secondment Week is your opportunity to prepare yourself for the transition into a professional career in dance. Many of ADT’s dancers have been recruited through a secondment process.

During Secondment Week you’ll receive one-on-one training with the dancers of ADT including:

  • Tumbling, choreographic tasking and stage craft
  • Current company repertoire
  • Audition technique
  • Forums on related topics like company life, diet, nutrition and marketing

“I can’t express how grateful I am to have been taught by such artists. I was very challenged and pushed, further developing myself as a dancer in only a single week. It was indescribable to dance in such an inspiring space with such positive energy” – Ben (2016 Secondment Week)

Applications are closing soon. Places are limited. Please email your current CV, two full body dance photographs and up to two links to video footage to

Successful applicants will be notified via email.

Call (08) 8373 7733 or visit www.adt.org.au for more information.
