Bangarra invites Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander dance graduates and experienced dance artists aged 18 and over to work with them as a professional contracted dancer with the company.
Professionally Contracted Dancer(s)
As a dancer with Bangarra Dance Theatre, you will be part of a company of storytellers, of fire makers, who draw on 65,000 years of culture to create and perform contemporary dance theatre presented across Australia and internationally. As proud Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander artists, each of their dancers brings their own unique cultural and artistic experience to the creative space – to learn from each other and from the First Nations communities with which they engage. Position(s) are open to applicants aged 18 and over, subject to availability and the outcome of contract negotiations. Please note that roles are not guaranteed.
