Dirty Dancing Australia announces further auditions for the role of:
Penny Johnson (Female)
Penny is a dance instructor who grew up with Johnny Castle. Though she dances
with effortless fluidity and grace of movement, she has had to fight for what she has
become. She has danced with The Rockettes in New York City, and this physical look
should be used as a guide when submitting performers.
For this role we require a spectacular principal dancer and great actor. Must be tall
and lithe. Experience in Latin and Ballroom dancing and partnering is essential.
Playing age: 25 – 30
Height: Minimum 5’7” (170cm)
Auditions will be held in Sydney only on Tuesday 18 November 2014.
Further callbacks may be required on Wednesday 19 November 2014.
