Following a nationwide tour and rave reviews, Illume arrives at Arts Centre Melbourne on Wurundjeri Country for its final performances next week.
Since opening in the Joan Sutherland Theatre at Sydney Opera House in June, we’ve travelled across the country, inviting audiences to journey with us as we explored the ways light has captivated and sustained Indigenous cultural existence for millennia. Critics have described the show as “an all-consuming, utterly mesmerising show” (AU Review) that “integrates sound, dance and visual design to tell the stories of First Nations people… with sophistication, spirit and grace” (ArtsHub).
This is a strictly limited season and tickets are selling fast. Join us on our final stop for an iridescent theatrical experience, drawing together dance, music and visual arts.
