Chase Vollenweider

Triple Threat is US bound

Gold Coast local Chase Vollenweider has danced all his life and is about to pursue his career dreams as he heads to the USA after recently being offered a contract there.
Eighteen year old Chase started his performing arts training at the age of two and has seen his passion grow along with his talent in dancing, singing and acting. He now is eager to pursue his career in the competitive commercial dance world internationally.
Growing up, Chase has spent many hours in the dance studio perfecting his craft. He started getting public recognition at the age of  seven when he appeared on the first season of Australia’s Got Talent and made it through to the Grand Final!
Chase’s recent credits include being a featured dancer in the Julia Rose Video clip ‘Romeo’, NRL entertainment, dancer with Guy Sebastian and at the launch of the Commonwealth Games.
On screen, Chase has also had featured roles in various television commercials including Weetbix, Kmart, SeaWorld, Dreamworld, and Queensland Transport; as well as roles in movies and shows. In 2010, Chase scored a lead role in Australian feature film A Heartbeat Away with actors including as Isabel Lucas and Tammy McIntosh.
Additionally, Chase has performed as a dancer/singer onboard Carnival Cruises and Royal Caribbean in 2009 and 2012 and also at Disneyland in LA.
In the past two years, Chase has travelled to the USA to train and compete in conventions such as The Pulse and The Dance Awards in an effort to propel his chances of a success. In 2015 Chase won a full scholarship to Pulse dance conventions. Chase returned to Pulse Arizona in 2016 and received an invitation to perform at the 2017 Pulse Las Vegas Gala Piece.  After attending the 2016 Dance Awards in Las Vegas in July, Chase also received full scholarships to American conventions at Nuvo, Break the Floor and Jump Dance for 2017.  He also won a scholarship while competing at the recent 2016 Australian Dance Festival and is awaiting news of a contract with Royal Caribbean Cruises.
Chase has recently been signed CTG (Clear Talent Group) agency in Los Angeles.
“After spending time this year in the USA, it has opened up many opportunities which has helped make it easy for me to follow my career,” said Chase.
“Being approached by Brandon Sierra from CTG while performing at Pulse, was a huge stepping stone for me and the path I want to take.”
“The hardest part about making the move to LA is finding a good agent so I feel very fortunate to have been approached.”
With a huge list of credits and achievements already under his belt, it appears we will be hearing a lot more about Chase Vollenweider in the future.
