The Sydney Dance Company and Australian Chamber Orchestra will come together on Sunday 25 October in Melbourne for one unmissable performance – Illuminated.
In this stunning showcase of virtuoso dance and music, a trio of breathtaking dance pieces created by Helpmann Award-winning choreographer Rafael Bonachela, are set to the compositions of Benjamin Britten, Vivaldi, Bach and

. Dancers and musicians share the stage throughout the performance, joined by acclaimed Opera Australia Principal Soprano, Taryn Fiebig, performing Britten’s acclaimed song cycle Les Illuminations. Illuminated comprises 3 works – Variation 10, Les Illuminations and Project Rameau.
This one-off Melbourne exclusive premiere of Illuminated precedes the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Sydney Dance Company’s inaugural joint international tour. Illuminated will appear in Hong Kong in November, with special guest soprano Katie Noonan.
