The festive favourite returns with three all-Australian casts — delivering a fresh, hilarious twist on the beloved Christmas rom-com.
Love Actually? The Musical Parody is gearing up for its biggest season yet, announcing three separate local casts for Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane following extensive auditions across the country. The Off-Broadway hit brings its signature chaos, charm and cheek to Australia’s holiday calendar, promising fresh faces, big laughs and a gloriously irreverent take on one of the world’s most divisive Christmas films.
This year’s company boasts a dazzling mix of musical theatre performers, comedians, impressionists, touring artists and TV talent — meaning audiences in every city will experience their very own Kiera Knightley, Colin Firth and Hugh Grant, brought to life with outrageous parody flair.
A Festive Parody Favourite Returns to Three Cities
The musical returns to Melbourne’s Athenaeum Theatre from 5 December, launches its NSW premiere at Sydney’s Darling Quarter Theatre on 27 November, and brings its Queensland debut to Brisbane Showgrounds from 11 December.
Celebrating everything fans adore (and love to mock) about the original film, Love Actually? The Musical Parody follows nine delightfully awkward couples navigating meet-cutes, grand romantic gestures and the kind of holiday chaos only a rom-com can deliver. Featuring original numbers including He’s The Prime Minister of Rom Coms and Keira Knightley Actually, the musical blends affectionate homage with laugh-out-loud satire.
Sydney Cast Brings Charm and Comedy
Sydney’s production stars Ellis Dolan as Daniel (Liam Neeson), Tommy James Green as Prime Minister David (Hugh Grant) and Hamish Pickering as Jamie (Colin Firth). Gracie Rowland plays Juliet (Kiera Knightley), with Bash Nelson as Peter and Brittany Morton as Karen (Emma Thompson).
Melbourne Cast Returns with Fan Favourites
Melbourne welcomes Mitchell Groves as Jamie (Colin Firth) and Belinda Jenkin as Juliet (Kiera Knightley). Jeremy Harland joins as Daniel (Liam Neeson), with Ian Andrew as David (Hugh Grant). Sophie Loughran appears as Karen, and Massimo Zuccara performs the role of Peter.
Brisbane Cast Brings New Energy
Brisbane’s cast includes Dylan Hodge as Daniel, William Kasper as David and Benjamin Hambley as Jamie. Nicole Kaminski stars as Juliet, with Stephanie Beza as Karen and Ashton Simpson as Peter.
