Tokyo Disneyland Resort Auditions!
August 8th in Melbourne & August 10th in Sydney!
Disney Parks Talent Casting, in association with Oriental Land Company (OLC), is seeking Dancers for an incredible array of live entertainment at Tokyo Disneyland® Park and Tokyo DisneySea® Park.
Come join us during The Happiness Year, as we celebrate our 30th Anniversary with a new parade, new special events, and new holiday offerings. Performers bring entertainment to guests through shows that range from a ’40s Big Band Revue, to a visually stunning live show celebrating the mystic rhythms of the jungle, to a rousing, fun-filled musical featuring Cinderella, Snow White, Prince Charming and many others.
One year contracts begin February/March 2013. Performers receive competitive salary (pay varies, depending on role and show), per diem, round trip travel, private apartments, 5-day work weeks, and the chance to experience one of the world’s most fascinating and vibrant cities.
Seeking the following roles:
All height requirements are strictly adhered to.
Ballet/Jazz Dancers: Males 5’9”+, Females 5’3”-5’6”, to portray classic Disney Princes & Princesses such as Cinderella, Snow White and Prince Charming in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical revue, must be trained in both ballet and jazz with exceptional stage presence and dynamic performance ability.
Male Ballet Dancers: 5’5”-5’8”, slender build, strong ballet technique, portrays Peter Pan in “One Man’s Dream II: The Magic Lives On”, a rousing musical highlighted by a magical flight across the sky by none other than Peter Pan himself, must not have a fear of heights.
Male Athletic Dancers with Ethnic Look: Males 5’6”+ , exotic looking, athletic with strong physiques for a lavish multi-sensory production exploring the “Mystic Rhythms” of a tropical rainforest, must have strong abdominal/back muscles.
Male Jazz/Tap Dancers: 5’8”+, strong solo tappers trained in jazz and tap with exceptional charisma and commanding stage presence for “Big Band Beat”, a large-scale musical where the Cotton Club meets Broadway meets Big Band Swing, especially seeking African-heritage dancers
Male Disney Character Look-alikes: 5’0”-5’6” and 5’8”-6’0”, charming and handsome performers to portray various Disney princes and heroes including: Captain Jack Sparrow, Indiana Jones, Aladdin, Prince Charming, Prince Philip and Peter Pan. Candidates should resemble the Characters in look, height and personality; strong movement ability is required. Some roles require a muscular build and strong acting abilities. Performers bring exciting, up-close entertainment to guests through meet-and-greets, daily parades, and special events.
Female Disney Character Look-alikes: 4’11”-5’7”, beautiful and graceful performers to portray various Disney princesses and heroines including: Jasmine, Pocahontas, Alice, Wendy, Tinker Bell, Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White. Candidates should resemble the Characters in look, height and personality; strong movement ability is required. Some roles require strong acting abilities. Performers bring exciting, up-close entertainment to guests through meet-and-greets, daily parades, and special events.

Requirements for all auditions:
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and willing to relocate to Tokyo for the terms of their individual contracts.
- Please bring a copy of your current photo and resume.
- Dancers: Wear appropriate form fitting attire, showing your silhouette. Wear proper dance shoes, no bare feet; street shoes are not allowed in the studio. Be warmed-up and ready to begin at the listed time. Please note, height requirements are strictly adhered to.
- Advanced registration is not required.
