Venus Rising

The Royal New Zealand Ballet

After four postponements, and over 1,000 days between rehearsals beginning early in 2020 and opening night in November 2022, Venus Rising is finally ascending to the stage!

Venus Rising features three extraordinary works by three formidable choreographers who have blazed a trail on the international stage.

Wellington | 24 – 26 November

Christchurch | 1 – 3 December

Auckland | 8 – 10 December

Venus Rising captures the spirit of Venus – the brightest of stars, and herald of the dusk and dawn. A sacred goddess of love, beauty and victory over adversity.
