After Waiting 12-Months DanceLife Dancers Finally Shoot for CAPEZIO

With Covid-induced delays to their official photo shoot, the DanceLife Unite Champion Dancers waited patiently over 12-months to enjoy their sensational day in front of the camera on Friday 28th January 2022, at Melbourne’s Stoker Studio. Photographed by brilliant dance-photographer Alicia Ruberto from New Dimensions Photography, the girls enjoyed a day filled with fun, laughter and celebration, revelling in the incredible win they were awarded at DanceLife’s January 2021 National Finals. 
Co-ordinated by Capezio representatives Jacqui Abela, Claire Cristiano and Kate Hedrich, the shoot started early on Friday morning with the threat of massive storms constantly a cause of concern. Thankfully a majority of the shoot was complete by the time Melbourne turned on yet another massive deluge of rain! Nothing could dampen the spirits of the dancers – Lilah Harding, Ava Meng, Shayarna Ellis-Dowler and Lara Griffiths – as the day bounced along with incredible shots being taken of still and action shots. Each dancer is a highly accomplished up-and-coming young professional and all Capezio staff were super impressed by their talent, ability and overall demeanour. DanceLife CEO Chris Duncan was also present throughout the day, proudly overseeing the shoot that has been a part of the unique opportunity she designed with Capezio way back in 2013!
DanceLife made the difficult decision to suspend the popular National Dance-Model-Search program last season due to the ongoing delays experienced in coordinating the winners’ official photo shoot due to multiple and extended lockdowns across Melbourne in 2021. Melbourne is home to Capezio’s head office in Australia and has been the location of the official photo shoot for the past few years.
