Children’s Choir for EVITA Australian Tour 2018

Producers of EVITA will be holding auditions for Sydney based children who can sing and act. There are six (6) roles, made up of a combination of boys and girls – culturally diverse.
Height: must not exceed 135cm
Age Range: Playing age 8 – 11. Children must be born before 6 August 2010 (8+ years)
Experience: As a minimum, must have at least one year’s experience in a choir/or vocal lessons
Home base: Must live within 110km commute from Sydney CBD / maximum 90 minutes travel
SUBMISSIONS CLOSE: 12 midnight – Sunday 22 April 2018
AUDITION DATES
- Sat 5th – Sun 6th May
- Rehearsals to commence mid-August 2018 in Sydney
- Performances at the Sydney Opera House from September 2018
- Dates are subject to change at the Producer’s discretion
AUDITION PREPARATION
- Preparation material will be provided at the time of audition appointments.
- AUDITIONS ARE STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
- Casting requirements for these children roles is very specific.
- There is no flexibility with the height and age requirements due to legal and creative reasons and height will be measured on the day of auditions.
- Please read the brief carefully when submitting – there is no scope for exceptions.
