Australian Dance Week raises the profile and focuses on the values, importance and the many cultural contributions of dance to the Australian community. Originating from lunch time performances held in Sydney over 20 years ago, Australian Dance Week has grown into a national, annual event which celebrates dance within the Australian community. Ausdance offices, nation-wide, co-ordinate dance activities and celebrations held every year in May.
