BRISBANE – the wait is over! The original Speigeltent is finally returning to the city, but not as you know it! As part of Brisbane Festival’s early event program 2022, The Spiegeltent will be setting up at its new Northshore home, Twilight Electric, from 27 July for a strictly limited season. This is the return of the hit 2019 Brisbane Festival show, Blanc de Blanc Encore, which has broken box-office records across Australia since its Sydney Opera House premiere.
It’s time to re-immerse yourself in the hedonistic, glamorous and extravagant world of vintage French flair, risqué humour, spectacular aerials, comedy and big dance numbers. With its acclaimed international cast, this intoxicating Gatsby-esque ride astonishes and delights with its world-renowned brand of opulent, cheeky, edge-of-your-seat theatre, set inside the glittering Spiegeltent.
The Spiegeltent has been home to many iconic Strut & Fret shows in Brisbane since 2008, with the likes of Feasting on Flesh, A Company of Strangers, Cantina, Dream Menagerie, LIMBO, Blanc de Blanc, Limbo Unhinged and Blanc de Blanc Encore.
