The UK Hit dance TV show ‘Got To Dance’ has been confirmed as one of the new Aussie productions that Shine will take on for Fox 8 in 2011.
Got to Dance (originally titled Just Dance) is a dance competition and reality show broadcast in the United Kingdom last year. Auditions were held in October 2009 in Edinburgh, Manchester and London. The show aired on Sky1 also in HD and is hosted by Davina McCall, with Ashley Banjo, Kimberly Wyatt, and Adam Garcia serving as judges. The winning act, 10 year old Akai, received £100,000. CBS has confirmed they are going to produce an American version as well. Sky1 has also confirmed that a 2nd series will air.
