Continuum: Three Choreographers, One Extraordinary Season
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

This October, Sydney Dance Company presents Continuum — a monumental triple bill uniting three powerful voices in Australian contemporary dance: Stephen Page AO, Rafael Bonachela, and Tra Mi Dinh.

Exploring themes of breath, transformation, and twilight’s fleeting beauty, Continuum is a celebration of connection and creativity across generations.

  • Stephen Page AO returns to Sydney Dance Company for the first time in more than 30 years with Unungkati Yantatja – one with the other, created with renowned composer and Yidaki master William Barton, performed live with the Omega Ensemble.
  • Rafael Bonachela premieres Spell, a bold and passionate new work conjuring five vivid worlds of movement, light, and sound.
  • Rising choreographer Tra Mi Dinh expands her 2023 New Breed piece Somewhere between ten and fourteen, a hypnotic exploration of time, change, and the space between day and night.

Together, these three works form a breathtaking season that captures the essence of Australian dance today.

📅 Dates: 22 October – 1 November 2025
📍 Venue: Roslyn Packer Theatre, Walsh Bay Arts Precinct
🎟 Tickets: On sale now via Sydney Dance Company
