Ausdance NSW Updates Restrictions for Dance Studios

As the lockdown extends and additional restrictions for Greater Sydney were announced today, there is a lot of uncertainty in the air.

Ausdance NSW has met to discuss how they will support the dance sector in crisis and the first thing they need to know – is how to help you!

Ausdance NSW are inviting responses to their very short survey to help inform their advocacy and support at this crucial time.

COMPLETE THE SHORT SURVEY HERE

At the moment, Ausdance NSW are:

  • Liaising with Create NSW and the NSW Government to clarify existing restrictions in relation to dance and communicating it through all their channels.
  • Advocating for financial support to be more accessible for dance professionals and businesses, specifically, by pushing for the $75K threshold to be lowered on support packages.
  • Pushing for a roadmap or advanced notification on how the easing of lockdown restrictions will be managed so that dance professionals and organisations can plan.
