Last week the- Powershift youth summit saw thousands from around the country descend to Sydney for talks, workshops and seminars on the very present issue of climate change, and how it effects the lives of youths today.
On the 3rd and final day, and after several tightly wrapped rehearsals, participants of the summit were involved in a flash-mob dance at the steps of The Opera House, Alive Entertainment choreographed the item, a crew comprised largely of past So You Think You Can Dance constestants. Above is the resulting “viral” video, which gained national media coverage, including Chnl 10, SBS and the ABC- as well as endless online presence – seeing the dance a success in gaining exposure to their important climate change message.
