New Platform Delivers World Class Streamed Classes to All

DROP TV is a new Australian, live-streaming platform for dancers and choreographers.
Evolved out of the new world experience of delivering dance education digitally, DROP TV is about giving Australian choreographers a world class live-streaming platform, to reach dancers on a national and international level.
DROP TV will offer high-definition, quality, industry-standard streaming gear with lights, microphones and multi-camera setups for the benefit of the participants.
One a week, DROP TV will feature two of Australia’s best choreographers teaching class to students at home, anywhere in the world.
The developers emphasise that this new platform does not replace face-to-face classes, of which they encourage more than anything. However, it is a bridge that gives dancers anywhere the opportunity to take classes from big city choreographers that they would usually not have access to.
The world has now been catapulted into the digital teaching space and DROP TV want to produce content that is of a world class standard ⏤ keeping up with places like the USA and Europe. So with this in mind, they are using industry standard live-streaming gear, a multi-camera setup, microphones, lights, the works! They’re also excited about students being able to go back to face-to-face classes.
And these are real-time classes with students, so you get to see the choreographer working with the students live ⏤ a first of it’s kind!
Tuesday 23rd June is opening night for DROP TV, and will feature two incredible Sydney choreographers: Cassie Bartho (Commercial Jazz) & Maikolo Fekitoa (Hip Hop).
The cost is $18 for the two classes from 8pm. Dancers from around the world can join an actual OPEN class taking place live in Sydney!
