Bursting into Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre for a strictly limited season from 29 June to 8 July and then landing in Sydney’s majestic State Theatre from 13 to 22 July 2018.
From the same creative team, led by Director Bonnie Lythgoe, that brought you THE ADVENTURES OF PETER PAN AND TINKER BELL earlier this year, be prepared to fall under the spell of her latest fairy tale classic.
By a single prick of her finger on her 18th birthday, the maleficent Fairy Carabosse curses Princess Aurora to 100 years’ slumber. Doomed by fate, only a Prince’s sweet kiss can break the spell and awaken the sleeping beauty. Can Princess Aurora’s hilarious best friend Silly Billy and faithful Nanny Tickle help save the day and who will outwit the evil Carabosse and foil her wicked plans?

PRINCESS AURORA
Definition of Character Role:
Age -18 -22 years of age
Height – 5ft 3 inches – 5ft 7 inches
Character – Bright ,Beautiful independent .curious , inquisitive with a heart of Gold.
– Professional Actress with a versatile singing voice. and the ability to Dance
– Please bring two songs of your choice One Ballad and one Up tempo.
– No Longer than 2 minutes each.
– Backing track or Piano.Parts.
– Must Be prepared to Read a couple of Sides .
PRINCE VALIANT
Definition of Character Role:
Age -18 -25 years of age
Height – 5ft 7 inches – 6ft 2 inches
Character – Handsome , Energetic , Impulsive with a glint in his eye ..
– Professional Actor with a strong singing voice and the ability to Dance .
– Please bring two songs of your choice One Ballad and one Up tempo.
– No Longer than 2 minutes each.
– Backing track or Piano available
– Must Be prepared to Read a couple of Sides .
