Vass Productions and Kermond Creative have announced the World Premiere season of SPIEGEL’ESQUE from 23 November in Sydney. Performed in the magnificent Spiegel Zelt in the piazza of Leichhardt’s Italian Forum, SPIEGEL’ESQUE is part cabaret, part song and dance, part circus, and all decadent world class entertainment.
Leave your real life at the door and enter the wonderful world of SPIEGEL’ESQUE where your enticing host ‘Vayne’ takes you on a serendipitous romp to the decadent world of cabaret, comedy, circus and burlesque – where song, dance and slapstick collide to create entertainment that will mesmerize and titillate. Daring, quirky and sexy as hell, this is cabaret but not as you know it!
Set inside the magnificent, 97-year-old Spiegel Zelt, the smallest spiegeltent in the world, acclaimed performer Wayne Scott Kermond plays host to a dazzling cast of entertainers. A star in her own right, this unique and legendary art nouveau “Tent of Mirrors” is the ultimate cabaret venue. And like every old theatre, her ghosts travel with her, as do a million secrets woven into her velvet canopies, cut-glass mirrors and romantic booths.
