The Tony Award®-nominated musical The Addams Family opens at the newly revitalised Teatro at the Italian Forum from 3–26 October, promising a devilishly fun night of laughs, love, and gothic spectacle.
Audiences will step into the mysterious and macabre world of Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, and the delightfully eccentric Addams clan in this laugh-out-loud, heart-warming show inspired by Charles Addams’ iconic characters.
A Spooky Comedy for the Whole Family
This fully staged production features rising stars from the acclaimed THEatreBRIDGE program. At the heart of the story: Wednesday Addams, the “ultimate princess of darkness,” has fallen in love with a “normal” boy. When the families finally meet, chaos, comedy, and a clash of worlds unfold.
Set to Andrew Lippa’s extraordinary original score, The Addams Family is a worldwide musical theatre sensation that combines gothic mischief with heartfelt moments perfect for all ages.
Sydney’s Newest Gothic Wonderland
The production is directed and musically directed by Andrew Bevis (Teatro Co-Founder), with choreography by Nathan M. Wright (Teatro Co-Founder). Together, they’ll transform Teatro at the Italian Forum into a gothic wonderland of comedy, romance, and toe-tapping tunes.
Written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice — the team behind Jersey Boys — with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, this spectacular show guarantees audiences will be snapping along all night.
