Vertical Shadows is Australia’s edgiest contemporary jazz company dedicated to giving paid work to the contemporary jazz industry. Using the word contemporary jazz very loosely Vertical Shadows will explore many different styles and entertainment avenues. Premiering its first show in 2009 to awards and amazing reviews, it is fastly becoming a highly respected company in Australia’s dance scene.
1, 2, 3, OPEN is the first show for the company in 2011. Consisting of three separate dance pieces, in this performance we aim to demonstrate the past, present and future of the company.
