WRONG PROM RETURNS

Returning after 2009’s sold out season and rave reviews, CarriageWorks’ WRONG PROM series is back to rock your nights away this winter.
Favourite cult classic dance films will be resurrected to create an evening to remember, with the speakers pumping the songs that you love. Hit the floor amongst friends, learn some groovy moves, and then dance the night away with DJ’s spinning the music your memories are made of under the glint of the giant disco ball.
In a mass dance class for over 18’s, professional dance instructors from Urban Dance Centre teach choreography inspired by moves you’ve always wanted to master from classic dance and musical films. In 2010 we’re re‐living Flashdance, Blues Brothers (Bring your boogie!) Grease and Chicago (Don’t be shy in those fishnets!). The class is designed for your inner dancer, whether you have twinkle toes or two left feet, you’ll be able to pick up the moves.
The bar will dish up servings of courage for the wallflowers among us. Toe tapping, big laughs and the odd burst of song are completely complimentary. Get the guys and girls together for a super‐fantastic fun night out… get ready to shake your tail feather with shameless abandon!
