From a self-described “tiny ant” stepping nervously out of full-time training and into the intimidating world of professional auditions… to thriving in dream jobs on cruise ships, cabaret stages, and international contracts for over 11 years — Grace Lenan has done the deep inner work to create a performing career on her own terms.
Now, she’s helping others do the same.

Launched in 2025, Grace’s new podcast But First, Alignment goes where most full-time courses don’t: into the energetic, emotional, and mindset shifts required to build a long, sustainable, joy-filled career in the performing arts.
“It’s all the inner work I wish someone had taught me when I first graduated,” Grace says. “I want young dancers to know: you’re allowed to create a career that feels aligned to your truth, your gifts, your joy.”
Each episode blends honest storytelling with soulful insight — offering guidance for dancers who are eager to manifest dream jobs, navigate self-doubt, and build lasting confidence beyond the studio.
A Career Manifested with Intention
Grace’s own journey is a masterclass in intentional alignment. After graduating from Brent Street’s full-time course, she felt overwhelmed by the industry and unsure how to stand out.
“I felt like this teeny, insignificant thing next to so many amazing performers,” she admits. “But I slowly realised — the only thing missing was belief in my own power.”
That mindset shift — from intimidated to magnetic — changed everything.
Since then, Grace has:
- Performed aboard Princess Cruises, MSC, and Crystal Cruises
- Starred in the glamorous cabaret Crazy Paris Show in Macao
- Booked a commercial residency at Club Cubic in Macau
- Danced for Tokyo Disney and freelanced across Tokyo
- Modelled Commercially in both Tokyo and Sydney
Every role began as a vision, then aligned through consistent mindset work, intention setting, and self-worth recalibration.
“All of it — almost every contract — was once on my vision board, (as well as the Universe delivering things beyond my imagination)” she says. “And if I can do it, so can you.”
