In it’s third successful year, the KidsXpress Charity Dance Challenge is back in 2011 to be held at Sydney Olympic Sports Centre on the 11th & 12th June 2011. Dance schools from all over NSW come together for this charity eisteddfod to help raise money for the fantastic organisation KidsXpress, which is an expressive therapy program that help children between the ages of 4 – 14yrs who have faced trauma, sickness, neglect or violence and give them the tools they need to overcome these adverse situations through expressing themselves in drama, art, music & dance. With $30,000 raised last year for this amazing charity, organiser Louise Telford is hoping to raise even more in 2011. If you would like your studio to participate in this charity event and help show that ‘Dance can make a difference’ details on the event will be available at www.kidsxpressdancechallenge.com.
