Swan Lake

West Australian Ballet

To celebrate its 70th anniversary year, your State Ballet Company will premiere a new Swan Lake this November.

Be the first to witness this new creation from award-winning choreographer Krzysztof Pastor and the creative team from Dracula, in this unique re-telling, interweaving classical ballet with a Noongar story.

This ground-breaking production brings Tchaikovsky’s famous score and the iconic classical choreography together with traditional Noongar dance and music, featuring special guest artists Gya Ngoop Keeninyarra (One Blood Dancers) performing their sacred ‘Black Swan’ dance.

Filled with extravagant sets, bold and beautiful costumes and hauntingly beautiful scenes, this reimagined traditional ballet will leave you breathless for more.
