WICKED SINGS 'WE'RE IN THE MONEY'

Sydney has taken WICKED to its heart with huge numbers flocking to the greenified Capitol Theatre to experience this world-wide musical sensation. WICKED has broken all previous weekly box office records for a musical at the Capitol Theatre, grossing $1,473,775.70 in the past week. General Manager of the Capitol Theatre, Graeme Kearns, said “The Capitol Theatre has a long history of hosting hit musical productions, and we’re thrilled that the current production of WICKED has out grossed previous record holders. There’s no doubt that Sydneysiders are queueing to see this wonderful musical, and loving it. We’ve already had people come back for a second time, even though it has only been open for a month.”
