Twisted Broadway – Musical Theatre’s Night-of-Nights

Due to a huge demand, final tickets have been released for TWISTED BROADWAY taking place this Monday October 2nd at Melbourne’s spectacular Regent Theatre.
Featuring a stunning lineup of some of Australia’s most beloved Television and Musical Theatre stars, singing songs originally written for the opposite gender, TWISTED BROADWAY is the thrilling one-night-only charity concert in support of the Victorian AIDS Council (VAC) & Oz Showbiz Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
This year the event will be hosted by the multi-talented Rob Mills and comedian Joel Creasey, who will no doubt be an entertaining duo! Read our previous article here.
Performers for this year’s event include Paulini, Rhonda Burchmore, Michael Cormick, Casey Donovan, Paul Capsis, Bert LaBonte, Emily Williams, Jacqui Dark as well as various cast members from The Book of Mormon, Mamma Mia!,  Aladdin, The Bodyguard and Kinky Boots. From its humble beginnings at Red Bennies in 2010, this year TWISTED BROADWAY will take over the glorious Regent Theatre for the very first time and promises a one-off night of show-stopping, gender-bending entertainment with hosts and performers to be announced shortly.
Kate Macdonald producer of TWISTED BROADWAY said “We are blown away by the outpouring of support we’ve had for Twisted Broadway since announcing our 2017 concert.”
Musical Director is Trevor Jones with contributing choreographers including Yvette Lee, Michael Ralph, Amy Campbell, Maxwell Trengove and Adrian Ricks.
The Gordon Frost Organisation have kindly donated the use of the Regent Theatre for this year’s concert which is to be staged on the set of Michael Harrison, David Ian and John Frost’s production of The Bodyguard.
