Monash University Academy of Performing Arts are delighted to introduce you to the Melbourne Ballet Company and their remarkable new work Infinite Space.
This young, vibrant company has quickly established itself as a major force and is attracting an extraordinary calibre of talent: All four of their principal dancers are previous soloists with the Australian Ballet. Rani Luther also spent 6 years dancing with the world renowned Netherlands Dance Company while Adam Thurlow has performed as soloist for the English National Ballet and is the only Australian ever to dance for the Opera National de Paris.
In Infinite Space, athleticism and artistry are set to the great works of Mozart, Wagner, Debussy and Bach. This is a rare chance to experience the beauty and sophistication of Ballet in the intimate comfort of the Alexander Theatre.
