What if being rejected didn’t mean anything about you? Or the performer you’re here to be? Or about where you’re going?
This Gabby Bernstein quote is one I live by ‘rejection is divine protection & redirection’.
After over 11 years performing professionally, I have experienced plenty of rejections. AND I’ve lived out my dream career of performing full time internationally for over 11 years.
I believe alchemising rejection is one of the soul assignments I, and so many of us, chose this path for – and what better way to master it, than having to face it again and again, in order to live out our dreams?
Rejection, largely, isn’t personal – it’s what we make it mean about ourselves that affects our vibration, our self perception, our self belief, the possibilities we see for our future and therefore, what we co create with the Universe.
It’s how we allow it to shape how we perceive ourselves and our ability to succeed in our desires that matters, not necessarily the rejection itself (remember, the Universe is infinite and there are infinite paths for our success).
These are the energetics to master, so that our self concept, our self belief and our visions for our future don’t get worn down along the way.
When rejection inevitably comes up, here’s what I ask myself to stabilise my energy and to spiral UP, allowing the experience to guide me and to springboard me TO my manifestations:
1. Is there a skill gap this audition/ experience has opened my eyes to?
If so, thank you Universe for showing my subconscious what’s possible for me, and what I’m growing into as I keep training & walking my path
(And thank you for protecting me from an experience/ job/ situation that I wasn’t ready for just yet)
- What is my brain/ ego/ inner child/ inner mean girl making this mean about me?
That I’m inherently not good enough? That it’s never going to happen for me? (
LIES) etc
And what is my heart’s truth about this experience?
- What if this doesn’t mean anything about the performer I am, the person I am, or where I’m going?
- What if my dream jobs & dream teams are DONE & waiting for me? They’re just not at this audition & we’re aligning at the right time?
- What if I’m being divinely protected from something I can’t see & divinely redirected to where my hearts desires are & where I’m meant to thrive?
- What if this is REALLY working out for me?
How we manage our thoughts, vibration, belief & perception creates our reality.
When rejection happens, give yourself grace, feel and honour your emotions, love yourself through it & USE the experience, it’s lessons and how you choose to see it and feel about it in your co creative favour.
When you can get to a place of being open to this being divine protection and redirection, feel gratitude for that in every cell of your body and amplify it more and more and more, thank the Universe, celebrate that you’re right on track for your success (even though it may not look like it to your ego or human mind in this moment) and watch your miracles unfold.
